We aim to ascertain and nurture the potential of every child in our care. We work together with parents to assist the children with their learning and development. The staff are readily available to talk with parents about their child. The start and end of the school day are busy times so meetings are arranged if a detailed discussion is necessary.

Our policies and procedures are explained to parents at the review meeting held at the end of their child’s ‘Introductory day’ visit.

Newsletters are also sent out regularly giving general information on the activities and operation of the School. Information  is issued detailing the themes and their relationship to the early learning goals, which the younger children will be following.

Parental involvement in the children’s topic work is encouraged and is much appreciated. Suggestions and resources are always welcome.

Every term there are Parent’s Evenings at which parents review their child’s progress with the class teacher. A formal School report is issued at the end of the Spring and Summer Terms.

We are always looking to improve all aspects of the school’s operation and welcome suggestions from parents and carers. To assist with the continuing development of the school and to evaluate the effectiveness of the education we provide a Parents’ Questionnaire which is sent out at the end of the academic year. In this questionnaire we seek views about how well children have been cared for and how the parent views their child’s academic progress.
